KPR Institute of Education is a non-profit organization and the registration no is 1430/2014 which aims to improve the socio-economic conditions of the poorest of the poor and bring about social development among the target communities. KPR is currently implementing programs in five areas: education; health; orphans and vulnerable children; community development and agriculture technical support; and Social Accountability. Its governance work included efforts to push for citizen engagement through participatory planning.
As part of its Education Program, KPR runs the “Improving Basic Education in India that provide livelihood trainings and life skills outreach to schools and communities. For health, KPR focuses its efforts on reaching the truly impoverished orphans, families and street children and educating them on important issues such as HIV/AIDS; drug addiction awareness and prevention; violence prevention; social and Buddhist morality, life skills and community development.
Why we should always trust in Dhamma?
- We always go back to the Buddha’s words, and trust in that. He said,
- Dhammo have rakkhati dhammacari
- chattam mahantam yathavassakale.
- Esanisanso dhamme sucinne
- na duggatim gacchati dhammacari.
That is, when you want to protect the Dhamma, the Dhamma protects you. Like when you protect an umbrella, it protects you from sun and rain. When you protect the Dhamma it protects you from going into a woeful state of affairs.
