Some rely on this (i.e. social media) mechanism completely; others can compile their efforts with traditional marketing approaches, as well. Regardless, there are several channels available. This implies that the efforts are scattered; require one person working through several and/or many people working through each one. Of course, traffic and the size of the business/activity are key.

As we know social media need two things:

  1. A continuous flow of high-quality content and
  2. someone to post that content and communicate with your company’s fans/followers. A good social media program is resource intensive; it’s also for the long term.
